Pune: A house should be like a house, not just walls... Like this poem, every common man dreams of owning a house. With increasing urbanization, the rate of home ownership in cities is increasing. There is a huge demand for housing in the metro cities of the country . On the one hand, there is no reduction in interest rates by the Reserve Bank of India, then the demand for housing is increasing. In the last three months, the information about where and how much demand for houses has come to light. In these three months, 80 thousand 250 houses have been sold in the country. Most of them have been sold in Pune city.

In India, house sales in the three months from April to June have increased over the previous year. 74 thousand 320 houses were sold in the three months of April to June in 2022. 80 thousand 250 houses have been sold in 2023. Home sales have increased in eight metro cities of the country while others have declined. Most of them have been sold in Pune city. Brokerage firm PropTiger has released a statement in this regard.

In the first three months of 2023, house sales have increased in Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad. At the same time, house sales have decreased in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata. Vikas Wadhawan, CFO of REA India Group, said that there is good growth in residential project plans across eight metro cities in the country. Home sales are increasing despite RBI not reducing home loan interest rates. Ahmedabad saw a 17 percent increase in house sales. Pune city has seen the highest increase of 37 percent.
