The Registration Department has decided to increase the use of e-registration facility for registration of sales contracts of developers. Necessary changes have been made for e-registration. At present, the condition of 500 deeds for registration of first contract under e-registration system has been abolished and sale contract of at least 20 flats or shops in the project is required to be registered.
In addition, MPLS VPN internet facility was required to use the e-registration facility, now it has been given a discount and even if it is a simple internet facility, registration can be done. The Deputy Inspector General of Registration said that the information of e-registration facility should be disseminated to maximum number of developers and it is the policy of the government to accommodate maximum number of developers in this system. Inspector General of Registration Omprakash Deshmukh has given instructions to take action accordingly.
